With years of experience and innovative solutions, we are dedicated to creating a sustainable energy future.
Adria Wind Power is the company that built the first wind park in Croatia and the region. In the 1990s, measurements of wind potential began along the Adriatic coast, including the island of Pag. In 2004, the first Croatian wind park was put into operation. AWP still owns and successfully manages the wind park on the island of Pag,
Our first commercial wind farm, Ravna 1, located on the island of Pag, symbolizes the combination of tradition and progress. Since the commissioning of Ravna 1, the team behind AWP has participated in the development of +90 MW of installed wind power in Croatia. Some of them are VE Rudine 1 and VE Bruvno. AWP is in the process of developing a solar power plant on the island of Pag and repowering the wind farm. It will be the first hybrid power plant in the region. Hybrid power plant is a part of the plan to build a first green hydrogen production plant obtained from desalinated seawater in Croatia, which will serve as an educational center and an example of an energy self-sustainable island.
Encouraging and developing environmentally friendly energy sources in Croatia, harmonizing modern technology with renewable resources. Through the design and implementation of wind farms, we believe in a future without dependence on fossil fuels, contributing to the fight against global climate change.
